Not much advice, but the pack n play in my room is almost full of laundry to be folded...and there's only 5 of us! Good luck!
We do laundry twice a week. Parents and sheets/towels one day and kids laundry the other day (with a few as needed loads along the way). What helped me with the "putting away" was moving to hanging most of my 5 year olds clothes so she can do it herself...plus, there's no folding. I make a neat pile of shirts and a neat one of pants. She puts them on hangers and puts them in her closet...it's glorious!
Nope...I have the same problem...we can get it washed, just can't get it put away!!
my piles aren't quite as big as that but I have 4 less kids than you do so I'm sure I would if I had 6!!I am the same way at procrastinating folding. I really don't mind the washing part, I actually like it because it feels like you're really accomplishing something. Until it's dry and ready to fold :) And if the clean laundry has been sitting there long enough, I wait until washed our new dirty laundry so it can just all be done-with at once. :)
Good Luck!
hi sara.....you are so funny. by the way, i love that you still have that vertical picture frame thing. i remember that being the first thing i noticed when walking in the front room (which i guess was the dining room) in your house here in wisconsin. i loved it!
anyway, i don't know how on earth you could do all the laundry for your family in one day. it's time to spread it out, i think! here's what i do...
monday - will and cal, each in their separate load so i don't have to sort who's socks and underwear belongs to whom. yes, i just throw everything together and don't sort according to color for them. so much easier!
tuesday - me
wednesday - david
thursday - towels
friday - every other week i do sheets, the other fridays i switch between zeb's (our dog) blankets and extra stuff like throw pillow cases, throws, rugs, etc.
saturday & sunday - rest (yes, i take 2 days off rather than the usual 1!!)
by the way, i bring each dirty load down in a hamper and fold it right away when it comes out of the dryer before bringing it back upstairs. the boys and david all put away their own laundry and the boys help me fold and put away the towels. keeping a schedule keeps everything running smoothly. plus, with doing laundry mon-fri, if someone needs something special washed, it can always go in the washer with what i'm washing that day.
so there you have it from a person who is too organized about stuff like laundry. good luck!!

Hello friend!
It's been too long. I love to see the pictures, and how everyone is getting so BIG! That is wild about Louis being so tall, and I am super impressed that you're out and about trying to run. Way to go Supermama! As for laundry, we use our super duper helpers. Adam sorts and washes, Evan, Grant and Isabel have divided what to fold and put away. Chad and I help along the way. It doesn't seem overwhelming to do about 2 loads a day.
Let's talk soon!
What we usually do is.....put everybody'd laundry in a laundry basket by them selvels in less poeple share a room then they would share a basket. Then they can fold laundry whenever they want and it only makes there room look messsy. That way you don't have to fold it all yourself.
Hi friend! I must say I strongly dislike laundry and I think ur right..it was the putting away..cuz since we moved here we wet to individual baskets..so I sort wash and fold as it comes out of the dryer but I put it right into ther own basket..then every couple days they take their basket up and put it away...someone is usually faiths special helper for the day and they help put hers away..oh..and I do have to do 2 to 3 loads a day...I never used to but I have to now to keep up...miss u friend!
