Tonight, I was able to meet up with a dear high school friend Amy. One of our other high school friends mom is in hospice care and we wanted to go visit her. Just a week ago today she was living unassissted in her own home, but today she slept most of the day. In a weeks time there has been so much change.

We were so blessed to be able to sit with her two daughters and talk. They are amazingly strong, but I know how hard it has to be... they were very honest about that part of it too. Before we left her daughter woke her up to tell her we were there. She is such a precious lady. I remember her being such a joy filled woman... she always made you feel like you were the most special person around. She was a real encourager. We were able to pray with her and tell her that we love her.
